Responsibilities 

Animal Control works to keep communities safe and free of animal-borne diseases, dangerous animals and protects the animals themselves from cruelty. The City of Red Oak employs a full-time Animal Control Officer, Amy Abernathy. Amy is committed to assisting the citizens of Red Oak with animal-related issues. Her 17 years of Animal Control and Animal Services experience is a major asset to the city and its citizens. Amy and the City of Red Oak thank all animal owners for being safe and responsible with their pets.
