Red Oak Municipal Lake Fishing Regulations

FishinTexas Parks and Wildlife (TPWD) and Red Oak Parks and Rec offer neighborhood fishin'. The neighborhood fishin' program offers a quality fishing experience to families who want to enjoy the outdoors in their own communities. TPWD works with local governments to stock neighborhood lakes with fish that are fun and easy to catch.

  • Red Oak Municipal Lake is included under Community LakTPWDe Fishing Regulations; a complete list of Community Lakes is available by calling 1-800-792-1112 (menu 2) or on the Texas Parks and Wildlife website.
  • Fishing is by pole and line only: No trotlines, jug lines, throw lines, bows and arrows, spears, or nets.
  • Limit of 2 poles per angler
