Adoptions

The Red Oak Animal Shelter attempts to adopt stray or abandoned animals to a "forever home" to provide a good life for the animal. Persons interested in adopting must come to the Shelter at 411 W. Red Oak Rd. and fill out an adoption application. It is recommended that you call Animal Control at 469-218-7721 to confirm availability.

Adoptions are $40.00 which includes:

  • Vaccines (Does not include rabies)
  • Worming Treatment
  • Heartworm testing for dogs (If age appropriate)
  • Preregistered Microchip
