RIT–SCBA RESCUE KIT

The items to be included in each RIT–SCBA Kit are as follows:

• Door stops
• 2 Life lines with deployment bags with D-Rings
• 2 Tag Lines with D-Rings
• 1 Bolt cutter (small 12″)
• 1 Channel Lock (multi adjustable pliers 12″)
• 1 Phillips head screwdriver (6″)
• 1 Wire cutter or Cable cutter
• 1 Straight blade screwdriver (6″)
• 1 S.C.B.A or Rescue Breathing apparatus with appropriate RIT hoses
• 2 Pry Tools
• 1 Equipment Tarp

Firefighters should carry axes or any other tools they may need depending on the situation. Further equipment will be determined after the RIT officer has completed the walk around.
