NOTICE OF EMPLOYMENT

The Red Oak Police Department announces positions available for Reserve Police Officers.
Basic duties include but are not limited to the enforcement of State Laws and City Ordinances.
Minimum requirements are as follows:
• Basic Peace Officers License (TCLEOSE).
• Clean driving record (less than three violations within a 12 month period).
• Must have passed a psychological test within the previous 180 days. If it has been more than 180 days then a test will have to be taken and passed at the applicant’s expense.
• Must have passed a medical exam within the previous 180 days. If it has been more than 180 days then an exam will have to be taken and passed at the applicant’s expense (this shall include a drug screening).
• Applicant shall submit to a written exam.
• Applicants that advance past the written exam and background investigation will run through a physical agility course and go before an oral review board.
Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled.
