Notice is hereby given that a Special Meeting of the Red Oak City Council will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at 6:00 P.M., in the Council Chambers of the Red Oak Municipal Center, 200 Lakeview Parkway, Red Oak, Texas, at which time the following will be discussed and considered to wit:

- CALL TO ORDER – The Mayor will call the meeting to order, declare quorum if present, and declare notices legally posted pursuant to Open Meetings Act.
- INVOCATION & PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
- COUNCIL BUSINESS – OPEN SESSION
- Conduct a Public Hearing on the proposed Fiscal Year 2007 Budget, a proposed tax rate of .64 cents per $100 of assessed valuation, and to increase tax revenues.
- Consideration of approving the date, time and place to vote on a proposed tax rate of .64 cents per $100 of assessed valuation, the increase in tax revenues and the proposed Fiscal Year 2007 Budget.
- ADJOURNMENT
