NOTICE OF CALLED MEETING AND BUDGET WORKSHOP
RED OAK CITY COUNCIL
THURSDAY, JULY 31, 2008, 7:00 P.M.
Pursuant to Section 551 of the Texas Government Code, notice is hereby given of a Called Meeting and Budget Workshop of the Red Oak City Council to be held on Thursday, July 31, 2008, at 7:00 P.M., in the Council Chambers of the Red Oak Municipal Center, 200 Lakeview Parkway, Red Oak, Texas, at which time the following will be discussed and considered:

CALL TO ORDER: The Mayor will call the meeting to order, declare a quorum if present, and declare notices legally posted pursuant to Open Meetings Act.
COUNCIL BUSINESS - REGULAR SESSION
The Council may convene into Executive Session under Section 551.071 (2) of the Government Code - Consultation with city attorney on any Work Session, Special or Regular Session agenda item requiring confidential, attorney/client advice necessitated by the deliberation or discussion of said items (as needed).
1. Discussion and possible action concerning a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Red Oak, Texas, suspending the August 8, 2008 effective date of Oncor Electric Delivery Company, LLC, to increase rates to customers within the City limits of Red Oak, Texas, for 90 days (E. Thompson)
2. Discussion and possible action concerning a utility rate study proposal. (E. Thompson)
3. Discussion and possible action concerning creation of the position of Assistant City Manager. (E. Thompson)
4. Discussion and possible action concerning proposed construction/renovations to the Museum room. (E. Thompson)
