MINUTES OF JOINTWORKSHOP
RED OAK CITY COUNCIL
Notice is hereby given that a Joint Workshop of the Red Oak City Council, the Industrial Development Corporation Board and the Economic Development Corporation Board will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2006, at 6:30 P.M., in the Ronald Reagan Room of the Red Oak Municipal Center, 200 Lakeview Parkway, Red Oak, Texas, at which time the following will be discussed and considered, to wit:

I. CALL TO ORDER – The Mayor will call the meeting to order, declare quorum if present, and declare notices legally posted pursuant to Open Meetings Act.
Mayor Bryce called the meeting to order at 6:41 p.m. Members present were Mayor Ron Bryce, Mayor Pro Tem Ben Goodwyn, Councilmember Scott Lindsey, Councilmember Casey Hargrove and Councilmember Gary Autrey. Councilmember Eric Smith was not present. Mayor Bryce declared a quorum present and notices legally posted. Mayor Bryce asked Industrial Development Corporation President Jim Robnett to call the IDC Workshop to order. The Economic Development Corporation Board did not have a quorum and was not called to order.
II. INVOCATION & PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Pro Tem Goodwyn gave the Invocation and led the Council and Citizens in the Pledge of Allegiance.
III. COUNCIL WORKSHOP – OPEN SESSION
A. Discussion with Mike Rader concerning Industrial Development in Red Oak.
Mayor Bryce introduced Mike Rader with Prime Rail Interest, Inc., Mike Groomer with Prime Strategies, Inc. and Broker Pax Glenn. Mr. Rader and Mr. Groomer, Council and staff discussed options for future industrial development in Red Oak.
IV. ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Bryce adjourned the meeting at 8:20 P.M.
