MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING
RED OAK CITY COUNCIL
Notice is hereby given that a Special Meeting of the Red Oak City Council will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2006, at 6:00 P.M., in the Council Chambers of the Red Oak Municipal Center, 200 Lakeview Parkway, Red Oak, Texas, at which time the following will be discussed and considered, to wit:

- CALL TO ORDER – The Mayor will call the meeting to order, declare quorum if present, and declare notices legally posted pursuant to Open Meetings Act.
Mayor Pro Tem Goodwyn called the meeting to order at 6:00 P.M. and declared a quorum present. Members present were Mayor Pro Tem Ben Goodwyn, Councilmember Eric Smith, Councilmember Scott Lindsey and Councilmember Gary Autrey. Mayor Ron Bryce and Councilmember Casey Hargrove were not present.
- INVOCATION AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Councilmember Autrey gave the Invocation and led Council and Staff in the Pledge of Allegiance.
- COUNCIL BUSINESS – OPEN SESSION
- Conduct a Public Hearing on the proposed annexation of approximately 3.0732 acres of land east of State Highway 342, north of Pierce Road and south of Ovilla Road and abutting the existing city limits of Red Oak on one side, as depicted in Exhibit
Mayor Pro Tem Goodwyn opened the Public Hearing. No one spoke in favor and no one spoke in opposition to the proposed annexation. Councilmember Autrey made the motion, seconded by Councilmember Smith to close the Public Hearing. The motion was unanimous
- ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Pro Tem Goodwyn adjourned the meeting at 6:02 P.M.
