MINUTES OF PUBLIC MEETING
RED OAK CITY COUNCIL
Notice is hereby given that a Public Meeting in which the Red Oak City Council may or may not have a quorum present, will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2006, at 7:00 P.M.at the Red Oak Junior High Cafetorium, 200 Live Oak Street, Red Oak, Texas, at which time the following will be discussed and considered, to wit:

I. WELCOME AND INTRODUCTIONS
City Manager Ken Pfeifer introduced City staff members, Mayor Ron Bryce, Councilmembers and other Board Members present at the meeting. Mr. Pfeifer introduced Freese and Nichols Project Manager Ted Sugg. Councilmember Scott Lindsey, Mayor Pro Tem Ben Goodwyn and Councilmember Casey Hargrove were present. Councilmember Eric Smith and Councilmember Gary Autrey were not present.
II. NEW BUSINESS - OPEN SESSION
A. Discussion of the proposed City of Red Oak roadway improvements to Red Oak Road from SH 342 to Live Oak Street, North Main Street from Red Oak Road to Quail Run Estates, Water Street from Waller to Main Street, and the alley west of Methodist Street from Red Oak road to Waller (pedestrian trail).
Residents living around the project area were encouraged to sign in upon entering and complete comment cards regarding the project. A Red Oak hotline phone number and website were also available for communication purposes. Project Manager Ted Sugg from Freese and Nichols introduced his staff members present at the meeting and presented a background of the project and an agenda for the evening (attached to these minutes). Mr. Sugg presented a power point presentation of the project to all present. Aerial drawings and maps were available for the residents to view. Future meetings and website updates were also discussed. This public meeting was a discussion item only. No action was taken by the Council.
III. ADJOURNMENT
The public meeting concluded at approximately 8:15 p.m.
