LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD
Notice is hereby given for the Regular Meeting of the Red Oak Public Library, Library Advisory Board, to be held on Thursday, February 8, 2007, at 7:00 P.M., in the Library at the Red Oak Municipal Center, 200 Lakeview Parkway, Red Oak, Texas. The following will be discussed and considered, to wit:

- CALL TO ORDER - The Board President will call the meeting to order, declare quorum if present, and declare notice of legally posted meeting of the Library Advisory Board, pursuant to Open Meetings Act.
- APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES of January 11, 2007 meeting.
- WELCOME AND ORIENTATION OF NEW BOARD MEMBERS Introductions and orientation by Cami Loucks, Director, including:
- Vision 2020
- Open Meetings Act Orientation and Required On-Line Training Discussion
- NETLS Lay Representative – Required Training/Attendance
- Communications
- CITIZEN’S COMMENTS
- OPEN SESSION - The following passed unanimously:
- Consideration of affiliation with the Best Southwest Bookfest and commitment of support.
- Discussion of the logo for the ROPL.
- DIRECTOR’S REPORT-The Director provides an overview of Library activities and services for the month of January including library technology, grants, databases, school visits, planning for children’s programs, budgeting and planning.
- ADJOURNMENT
