RED OAK PUBLIC LIBRARY
LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD
Notice is hereby given that a Regular Meeting of the Red Oak Public Library Advisory Board, will be held on Thursday, April 3rd at 6:00 P.M. in the Library of the Red Oak Municipal Center, 200 Lakeview Parkway, Red Oak, Texas at which time the following will be discussed and considered:

- CALL TO ORDER - The Board President will call the meeting to order, declare a quorum if present, and declare notices legally posted pursuant to Open Meetings Act.
- APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES FROM the Library Advisory Board Meeting held on February 12, 2008.
- ORIENTATION OF NEW BOARD MEMBERS Welcoming of new board members Amy Hedtke and Robert Shamel. Reiteration of Open Meetings and Public Records Act courses.
- CITIZEN’S COMMENTS
- OPEN SESSION -
- Set in writing the Board’s goals for the year.
- How to attract valuable volunteers.
- Friends of the Library acquisition.
- Fund Raiser ideas.
- Possible Library programs to invoke community interest.
- Revamp Story Time with new day and time.
- DIRECTOR’S REPORT-The Library Director will provide an overview of Library activities and services since the last meeting, which may include Library technology, grants, databases, school visits, programs, and budgeting and planning.
- ADJOURNMENT
