NOTICE OF A REGULAR MEETING
RED OAK PARKS & RECREATION BOARD
Notice is hereby given that the Regular Meeting of the Red Oak Parks & Recreation Board will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2006, at 7:00 P.M., in the Museum of the Red Oak Municipal Center, 200 Lakeview Parkway, Red Oak, Texas, at which time the following will be discussed and considered, to wit:

- CALL TO ORDER - 7:00pm The Parks & Recreation Board President will call the Parks & Recreation Board workshop to order, declare a quorum if present, and declare notices legally posted pursuant to Open Meetings Act .
- PRESENTATION - Mary Leggitt
- NEW BUSINESS – OPEN SESSION
- Consideration of approving the minutes of the August 3, 2006 Regular Parks Board Meeting,
- Discussion of the Founder’s Day and running the volleyball, horseshoes and washer tournaments during the day.
- Discussion of Open Meetings Act and Open Records Act.
- CITIZENS TO BE HEARDComments, questions, or presentations for non-agenda items from citizens, but no action may be taken by the Parks and Recreation Board.
- STAFF AND BOARD COMMENTS AND REPORTSMichael Hopping – Director of Parks and Recreation; Mr. Bill Skelton has turned in his resignation and his last day will be September 6th. The volleyball court, horseshoe and washer pits have been put in at Old Town Park.
