NOTICE OF A REGULAR MEETING
RED OAK PARKS & RECREATION BOARD
Notice is hereby given that the Regular Meeting of the Red Oak Parks & Recreation Board will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2006, at 7:00 P.M., in the Council Chambers of the Red Oak Municipal Center, 200 Lakeview Parkway, Red Oak, Texas, at which time the following will be discussed and considered, to wit:

- CALL TO ORDER - 7:00pm The Parks & Recreation Board President will call the Parks & Recreation Board workshop to order, declare a quorum if present, and declare notices legally posted pursuant to Open Meetings Act .
- NEW BUSINESS – OPEN SESSION
- Consideration of approving the minutes of the November 7, 2006 Regular Parks Board Meeting, Workshop November 16, 2006 and Special Meeting and Workshop November 28, 2006.
- Discussion of the Christmas special event “Christmas Downtown Red Oak”.
- Discussion of a consultant to help identify Parks and Recreation future needs.
- Discussion and consideration of changing the January 2nd regular meeting date to January 4th.
- CITIZENS TO BE HEARD Comments, questions, or presentations for non-agenda items from citizens, but no action may be taken by the Parks and Recreation Board.
- STAFF AND BOARD COMMENTS AND REPORTS Michael Hopping – Director of Parks and Recreation: The department and Public Works has placed metal doors on the restrooms at Old Town Park.
- ADJOURNMENT Posted in accordance with the Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, on the 1st day of December, 2006 at ________________ p.m.
