NOTICE OF A REGULAR MEETING
RED OAK PARKS & RECREATION BOARD
Notice is hereby given that the Regular Meeting of the Red Oak Parks & Recreation Board will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2008, at 7:00 P.M., in the Council Chambers of the Red Oak Municipal Center, 200 Lakeview Parkway, Red Oak, Texas, at which time the following will be discussed and considered, to wit:

- CALL TO ORDER - 7:00pm The Parks & Recreation Board President will call the Parks & Recreation Board Regular Meeting to order, declare a quorum if present, and declare notices legally posted pursuant to Open Meetings Act .
- INVOCATION AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
- NEW BUSINESS – OPEN SESSION
- Consideration of approving the minutes of the July 1, 2008 Regular Parks Board Meeting, July 24, 2008 Special Meeting and July 29, 2008 Special Meeting.
- Discussion of the five design firms that gave presentations.
- Discussion of and consideration of an alternate date for the next regular meeting in October.
- Discussion of dates in the months of August and September in touring parks that have been designed by each of the design firms.
- Discussion of Founders Day.
- Discussion of new proposed FY2009 budget.
- CITIZENS TO BE HEARD Comments, questions, or presentations for non-agenda items from citizens, but no action may be taken by the Parks and Recreation Board.
- STAFF AND BOARD COMMENTS AND REPORTS Report on the progress of the new park land. Report on the Red Oak Senior Club. Report on the City Park.
- ADJOURNMENT
