PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2006 - 7:00 p.m.

MINUTES

CALL TO ORDER - 7:00 p.m. - Chair Barry Maners called the meeting to order at 7:22 p.m. and declared a quorum was present. Commissioners present were:

Alternate Don Nevins sitting in for Secretary Jose Vasquez

- NEW BUSINESS – OPEN SESSION
- Consideration of approving the minutes of the Tuesday, September 5, 2006 Regular Meeting.
Member Cornett made the motion seconded by Member Hanes to approve the minutes of the Tuesday, September 5, 2006 Regular Meeting, as written. The motion was unanimous.
- Conduct a Public Hearing and consideration of approving Lots 21A and 21B, Block A, Country Ranch Estates, Installment No. 4, being a replat of Lot 21, Block A, City of Red Oak, Ellis County, Texas, requested by S & G Sales.
Chair Maners opened the Public Hearing. Glen Banks, representing S & G Sales, spoke for the request. Julio Hernandez, 125 Sierra Grande, a neighboring property owner, spoke not against the replat request, but rather about drainage concerns for the area. Member Cornett made the motion seconded by Alternate Nevins to close the Public Hearing. The motion was unanimous. Staff and the Board encouraged Mr. Hernandez to contact the Public Works Dept. for his drainage concerns. Member Cornett made the motion seconded by Member Hanes to approve Lots 21A and 21 B, Block A, Country Ranch Estates, Installment No. 4, being a replat of Lot 21, Block A, City of Red Oak, Ellis County, Texas. The motion was unanimous.
