Citizen Comments

We welcome citizen participation in our public meetings and want to ensure you have a voice. Citizen's Comments are your opportunity to address your City of Red Oak elected officials directly about issues that are important to you and your community. Whether you comment via Citizen Comments session or speak on a specific agenda item, your voice is important and will be heard.

Individuals will not be recognized to speak during the meeting unless the Citizen Comments Form has been submitted for each item of interest. The Citizen Meetings Form can be completed online prior to the meeting or in person before the meeting starts.

There is a three-minute time limit for each citizen to speak with a reasonable limitation on speakers on one topic or item with a maximum of fifteen total minutes on the same topic item. When called by the Mayor, please approach the podium and state your name and address prior to beginning your comment.

You may also submit a public comment via email to Red Oak Meetings. All must be completed by 5 pm on the date of the meeting.
