Red Oak Public Library

History

The Red Oak Public Library was founded in September 2004 and is located within the Red Oak Municipal Building.

Collection

The Library is housed in a space of 950 sq. ft. and contains a collection of over 17,000 items including books, audiobooks and DVDs.

The Red Oak Public Library offers access to 49 scholarly reference databases through the TexShare Consortium, downloadable eBooks and eAudiobooks through the Northeast Texas Libraries Digital Consortium and eMagazines through RB Digital.

Usage

Over 7,000 people have cards with the Red Oak Public Library. The population of Red Oak is over 12,000. The door count for the library is over 2,000 each month.

Management

The Red Oak Public Library is managed for the City of Red Oak by Library Systems and Services, LLC.
