Garbage & Recycling
In partnership with the City of Red Oak, Community Waste Disposal provides a comprehensive program for all refuse and recycling needs. Service began December 31, 2018.
As these services may differ from previous collections, please see the attached brochure as well as the individual tabs to outline the services and requirements related to this program.

Commercial Waste Services
Community Waste Disposal (CWD) is the contracted waste collector for the City of Red Oak. CWD is the sole provider of all solid waste collection, including commercial waste. Use of another waste collection company is prohibited by city ordinance.

Brush/Limbs Collection
Bulky waste and brush will be collected on your regular trash pickup day. You are limited to two (2) cubic yards of bulky waste and loose brush per collection. Tied and bundled brush may be set out in unlimited quantities. View the rules on collecting limbs and brush.

Bulk Trash Collection
Bulky waste and brush will be collected on your regular trash pickup day. You are limited to two (2) cubic yards of bulky waste and loose brush per collection. Place all bulk and brush items next to your trash receptacle no later than 7:00 a.m. on your designated collection day. Read more about what is acceptable for collection.

Garbage Rates
Residential rates include garbage, recycling, bulk and door side Household Hazardous and Electronics Waste collection. Check out the current Garbage Rates here:

HHW & Used Electronics
CWD’s Door Side Collection program encourages safe, easy, and responsible disposal of approved hazardous waste and used electronics. This service is provided for Red Oak residents up to once a month, and is included in your regular monthly trash and recycling charge.

Recyclable Items
Recycling will be collected once a week. All recyclables must be placed inside the blue 95-gallon recycle cart. View the items that are accepted into the recycling center.
