The Red Oak Police Department is comprised of men and women serving in sworn and civilian capacities that are driven to improve the quality of life for the citizens that we serve. The Red Oak Police Department is currently comprised of twenty-nine full time police officers, two reserve police officers and three civilian personnel.
The Red Oak Police Department is focused on building and nurturing an environment of public trust and safety with our community. Through a partnership with the community, the Red Oak Police Department is able to solve problems and improve public safety in a manner that is fair, impartial and transparent.
The City of Red Oak adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year's tax rate. The tax rate will effectively be raised by 5.38 percent and will raise taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $-40.57.
