The Code Enforcement Division actively implements the City’s Code of Ordinances and responds to concerns and complaints regarding a variety of potential code violations relating to property standards, illegal signage, etc. In addition, the division also participates in numerous educational and informational programs.

The Red Oak Code Enforcement Department receives a substantial number of complaints each year concerning alleged violations of the City Code. Each one is investigated to determine whether a violation exists and addressed accordingly.
The City of Red Oak adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year's tax rate. The tax rate will effectively be raised by 5.38 percent and will raise taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $-40.57.
