Red Oak Parks and Rec, through a partnership with Texas Parks and Wildlife (TPWD) offers neighborhood fishin'. The neighborhood fishin' program offers a quality fishing experience to families who want to enjoy the outdoors in their communities. TPWD works with local governments to stock neighborhood lakes with fun and easy-to-catch fish.
Community Lake Fishing Regulations
Effective September 1, 2010 - Red Oak Municipal Lake is included under Community Lake Fishing Regulations; a complete list of Community Lakes is available by calling 1-800-792-1112 (menu 2) or on the Texas Parks and Wildlife website.
Fishing is by pole and line only: No trotlines, jug lines, throw lines, bows, and arrows, spears, or nets.
