Citizens On Patrol

The Red Oak Police Department periodically offers residents the opportunity to participate in a special community involvement program named Citizens On Patrol (COP). The purpose of the COP Program is to prepare residents to be the "eyes and ears" of the police and to promote closer cooperation between residents and city agencies that exist to serve them. The Citizens on Patrol is a citizens’ support unit for the Red Oak Police Department. This unit is used for non-emergency calls and helps prevent and deter criminal activity through high visibility patrols and community events.

Members of the Citizens on Patrol volunteer their time based on availability and new members will be added to the Citizens on Patrol cadre as positions become available.

If you have questions or would like additional information on the program, please contact the Red Oak Police Department at 972-617-7632.
